Skills and Experience as an Art Director

 

• Visual design, Brand strategy, and experience governance.

• Present creative strategy and deliverables internally and externally in an informed and engaging manner; able to develop and sell the Big Idea

•  Develop creative strategy (POV, principles, guidelines) that elevates visual design and brand across studios, platforms, and digital experience

• Collaborate and consult with cross-disciplinary teams to create best-in-class, compelling, and effective multi-channel experience

• Balance digital-brand principles with business objectives

• Hands-on concepting and design of key brand initiatives, including events, strategic digital initiatives, and programs

• Brand steward, image evangelist and experience strategist

• Engage with internal/external agency resources or 3rd party vendors as necessary to evolve and protect brand equities

• Manage and govern the visual design system, while owning the alignment/convergence with the overall customer experience

• Lead and mentor creative teams to produce high quality creative that is original and strategic

• Serve as liaison to enterprise-wide standards group and additional standards groups across organizations

• Manage the partnerships to advance digital brand principles and guidelines

• Supervise day-to-day project delivery teams (including Art Director and Visual Designers) across studios

• Communicate and socialize learnings with Customer Experience and partners Art direction and process management

• Provide ongoing analysis and enhancements to execution and creative-delivery process

•  Maintain current trends from all aspects of digital within fashion, entertainment and/or retail

• Provide quality assurance of all creative deliverables

• Extend and evolve visual design systems/brand guidelines across multi-channel experiences
